I worked with artist and activist Malene Barnett on her new website including an artist statement. She is a force of nature and what the world needs right now. I learned so much from her and her anthropological approach to art and the preservation of cultural artifacts and artistry from the African diaspora. She is also the founder of the Black Artists + Designers Guild, a global collective of independent Black artists, makers and designers throughout the world.
